Red Zone 6

6 Hour Mountain Bike Challenge

Red Zone 6 is staged within the Burwood Red Zone.

The route will be an 11km route throughout the Burwood Red Zone subdivision, with the Race Village and hub being Donnell Sports Park.  This will be a hive of activity with team tent sites and, food vendors music and continual movement throughout the day.

While this will be a fast ride, bike handling will play a big part in it and considering no one will know the exact route until race day, it will make for some good riding.

Burwood Red Zone: Donnell Sports Park, Brooker Ave, Burwood

Car Parking

Car Parking will be off New Brighton Road at the intersection with Brooker Avenue.

Race Village

Race Village will be set up at Donnell Park and sites will be allocated at the time of entry.  All team sites will be 5x8 metres which will allow a pop up tent or gazebo or vehicle for changeover of your team members.  This will be a great atmosphere with food vendors, coffee and music playing throughout the event. Supporters and spectators can visit you in at your site.  You can set up couches, chairs, massage tables - whatever makes you comfortable.

Competitors will be going past your site so please make sure you keep within the confines of your allocated site as riders go past.

Access to your team site can be set up the day before.  We will have security on site overnight. Please do not leave valuables overnight though as security cannot be everywhere throughout the night.  You can’t camp overnight sorry.
